I was making a map marking all the historical significant places of China. This tool is almost perfect to me, only should the line width be able to be adjusted.
Driving Movies Locations Map
The map points are linked to Youtube where you can watch the movie from the selected location.
My YouTube channel:
Here’s the map I’ve been working on!
It should be every railroad crossing, rail bridge, and tunnel along major railways in the United States, and Canada. I’m moving over from My Maps, because of all their issues, and I’m looking forward to using MapHub as my main software!
Cheers!
Hi Eliot, this is a very impressive map! It’s unbelievable that you have almost 6000 points, it must have been a huge effort! Do you know the “Display icons as dots” option? I think it’d be very nice on your map!
Zsolt
Hi Marek,
This looks like a very big effort. Did you record and upload all the videos yourself?
I am aware of the option, but I don’t know how to mass apply it to all the points
Checking that option applies to all points.
Ah, thanks!
Thanks for your comment - Yes, it’s all my job. Unfortunately, is still missing some movies on my map. I will update it in the future! I hope you enjoyed it
So cool! I also like that you used both the official language in some countries, but other different dialects!
I decided that this would be a cool way of organizing my roller coaster credits and a way for others to see them as well.
This is really cool! I never thought of using a map for credits, makes a lot fo sense
Hi @RyanWoirol and welcome to the forum! Thanks for sharing your map. I honestly had no idea what “coaster credit” means before today!
your site wouldn’t load
Came across Map Hub by accident- I’d been struggling to create a leaflet map, but in the end resorted to using Google. The map is still a work in progress, but it was so simple to export from Boogle into Map Hub - just brilliant
Hi Graham, nice map! Did you know you can upload photos directly to MapHub? Then it appears nicely over the map!
Thanks - The original was uploaded from MyMaps in Google and I realised that only the location of the images stored in Google had been imported. The images are all on my website, so I replaced the image url. I’ll continue to do the same, with future images - this should mean I use up less of your server space
An Introduction to Somme Prairie Grove by SommeWoods · MapHub I have just started to use Maphub and it seems to be the perfect solution to my challenge. I am trying to convert an online guide to a map you can have on your phone with waypoints that describe the area you are at. Looking forward to the autorefresh that will update your location. There are multiple maps depending on the seasons and an overall intro guide as well. The idea is that at the trailhead you would scan the QR code associated with the season or reason you are there. It could be for birds, plants, or other things. This map is just a start and is not finished but is more a demonstration of potential to my group.
Hi there.
Nice website. Did you switch to google maps with an API ?
maphub looks nice especially if you want it private.
Here is the first version of the kind of map I want. A large QR code will be posted at the trailhead. Visitors will scan the code and the map will appear on their phone. We have 6 guides depending on seasons and other subjects. I look forward to using Markdown to make these maps even more useful. I welcome any comments.
