The polygons are great for highlighting a region of the map, but a more applicable shape for much of my work is a circle. Creating a circle allows me to easily show radius (e.g. a proportional distance from a center-most point).
Is it possible to add a circle as an option on the toolbar?

I think this would also be a very useful addition to the map, as well as a ruler perhaps?
Adding circles isn’t very complicated. In what way would you like to use them? Simply drawing them with mouse like in Photoshop, Illustrator, etc?
Do you know you can use a straight line as a ruler? If you simply draw a line, you’ll see it’s length on the right side. Is this working for you?
