Merge polygons + set transparent boundaries

Hi

it would be great to merge polygons into “one” item.

To colour countries, I have imported GeoJSON files for each country, which worked like a charm.
(As suggested here and here.)

Unfortunately, the GeoJSON files of most countries consist of several items / polygons. So each of them shows up on the panel.

It would be great if several polygons could be merged into “one” country polygon item.

@hyperknot is this a possibility? If so, where could we find documentation for the process?

Cheers!

Ted, if you are still interested in this, can you link to a sample file and sample country / polygon where this is a problem? I’d like to see the problem to understand it.

Here you go: Testing imports by Boncom · MapHub (Indonesia is a good use case)

Another related feature that would be useful is subgroups. Being able to organize groups within groups would be great.

Thanks for the report. I’ll look into it in the future.

Now the current priority is the group-in-groups.
