Great map, love it. To add more beauty, usability and make the experiance even better the grafic opportunities of Lines and Polygons can be increased.

Lines: Broadnes of line (updownbox will do it, add a pixel), Fade factor so you can have transparent lines (a bar is easy and will do it), Dotted, striped, waved or flowered 
lines can make it more beautiful and fun
Polygones: make them kompletely full to totaly transparent with coloured lines.
