Importing data from CSV

Hi,

I have an Excel file of data pints that I wish to import. In the help it indicates you can import CSV but that is rejected so I converted to GPX which works. However what column titles do I need to use to get a point name imported and also descriptive data about the point?

How do you convert from CSV to GPX? Also, “In the help it indicates you can import CSV”, can you explain me where did you find it?

To find the correct columns, you can use any MapHub map and click on Share / Excel CSV, for example this one:

Once you made your CSV file with the right columns, you can use https://www.gpsvisualizer.com/ to convert from CSV to GPX. That can be imported in MapHub then.

Hi,

I’m looking to import a number of map groups from a csv.

I have tried to re-import a csv I converted to gpx using the above method but I lost the groups and the colours for the groups. Is there a workaround for this?
