Hello, I have a Facebook group with a few thousand people. I’d like the ability for each person to identify their own location on the map. I didn’t see an option for a shared or team account. What is the best way to accomplish this?
Hi! There are some groups who use MapHub like this, some of the largest maps have been created collaboratively.
Right now, it’s not possible to “invite” others as editors, the simplest thing you can do is to create a shared/team account, which everyone uses.
Very soon, when the final version launches it’ll be possible to set who can edit and view the map on an individual level.
How do I create a shared/team account? I don’t see an option for it anywhere.
I mean just create a new account and share it’s username / password with who you trust with editing the map.
Also, it’s a good idea to regularly download the GeoJSON version of the map, and keep them as backups.
